Kishoree Foundation seeks donation from all possible sources, from individuals, organizations, corporate, civil society organizations, non-governmental and government organizations, business houses, charitable foundations and other funding agencies.
The Foundation would be happy and willing to disclose the names of the donors on its website, if the donors so desire. The Foundation will also honour the wishes of those donors who want to be anonymous.
Kishoree Foundation is a tax exempt entity. All donations made to Kishoree Foundation are thus exempt from income tax as per provisions of section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Government of India (Ministry of Finance, Income Tax Department, ) after due diligence and satisfaction, has granted tax exempt status to Kishoree Foundation under section 12AA of Income Tax Act, 1961 vide Commissioner of Income Tax Exemption, Patna Registration No. CIT(E)/13/19-20/T-886. Further, Commissioner of Income Tax, Exemption, Patna has also granted necessary approval to Kishoree Foundation under section 80G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 vide No. CIT(E)/13/19-20/T-535 with effect from financial year 2019-20 onward.
The Foundation can work only with the help and support of donors, and therefore, we actively seek donations from individuals and organizations.

As of now, the Foundation is seeking three types of donation, as detailed below:
The first is donation towards setting up Low-cost sanitary pad manufacturing units. Estimated cost of setting up a manufacturing unit with semi-automatic machine is around Rs 10 lakhs. Donation of any amount (starting from Rs. 1000 upwards) towards meeting this capital cost would be highly appreciated.
The foundation strives to organize regular workshops and training program for raising awareness towards menstrual hygiene and social and behavioural change. Any donation and sponsorship towards these ends are always welcome.
The second type of donation which the foundation is seeking is to meet the cost of producing and distributing the sanitary pad.
On the estimate that a women/girl would need 6 to 8 pads per month (menstrual cycle), the annual requirement of pad comes to around 75 to 100 pads. At the estimated cost of Rs. 2.5 per pad, the annual cost of providing pad to women/girls is Rs. 200 to Rs. 250.
