The Foundation has been established by the drive and motivation of its founder chairman,Praveen Kishore.Two more trustees, Ramchandra Prasad and Kamal Kishore also took responsibility for its establishment and are actively involved in Foundation’s day to day activities.

Praveen Kishore

Praveen Kishore is an Indian civil servant by profession and a development economist by training and passion, and has handled variety of leadership roles in public administration, management and policy arenas with governments for more than two decades. He has extensively worked in public health, nutrition and human development sectors as well as in areas of governance, organizational reforms and public financial management. He believes in persistent efforts and hard work, and has always striven to make a difference in the lives of poor and downtrodden.

He is a JJ-World Bank Fellow and has obtained master’s degree in International Development from Harvard University, USA. He has also obtained PGPPM degree from IIM, Bangalore and has earned bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from BHU, Varanasi. He is founder Director of SPARGED, New Delhi; is a Senior Fellow at CASPR, Pune; and was a visiting scholar at CPP, IIM-Bangalore. A voracious reader, he is also engaged in research, writing and sharing of ideas. He has published numerous articles and papers in magazines and journals like EPW and JAER and has delivered talks at Harvard University, IIMs, ADRI and ISID. Ramchandra Prasad

Ramchandra Prasad is a well-known figure in Kesaria, Bihar, a person with wide local network who also commands respect from people for his social commitment and for helping people in need. He retired from Health Department of Government of Bihar after long years of service of almost four decades and now devotes his time for social service and for working for and helping poor and disadvantaged communities.

Kamal Kishore

Kamal is a progressive and socially aware villager from Nayagaon, Kesaria. Primarily a farmer, he is now also responsible for managing the production, distribution and training operations of Kishoree Foundation in Kesaria, Bihar. Kamal Kishore is working shoulder to shoulder with our team members to bring about a positive change in the lives and health of the women and girls of the region.
