Menstrual Health and Women Empowerment

The foundation started its work from a village/kasba – Nayagaon, Kesaria, in East Champaran district of Bihar, India in 2019, with the focus on improving the menstrual health and hygiene practices of poor rural women and adolescent girls, and is slowly and steadily continuing and expanding its activities since then.

This is being done through four main lines of activities, which are:

The foundation has continuously and steadily been working in line with these stated objectives. The experience of previous years has also been a learning experience which has helped the foundation is modifying and revising its strategies, objectives and operational plans. And the foundation has slowly been expanding its footprints in different parts of Eastern India. As of now, the foundation has presence in three states of India, namely Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Although these footprints are not very substantial, the motivation and commitment of our team members are quite high and everyone is committed to work hard and in the process learn, revise, expand and replicate our evolving plans to many other areas.
