Our team of women have started free distribution of Kishoree Pads to the poorest of the poor women and girls in the villages, in light of the adverse effect of Covid-19 on livelihood and earning of these communities. The activitiy invariably includes discussing and making women and girl aware about the need and use of sanitary pads for their better health and active life. On 27 April, packets of Kishoree Pads were distributed free to women and girls in the Musahari tola (ward no. 5) of Khijirpura-Benipur Panchayat of Kesaria block. These women belong to the poorest section of our society (belonging to mahadalit community - musahar caste mostly) and are the most vulnerable sections of our society. We would be distributing more pads to similar such communities in the coming days.
